Anne Hartman, LWML VP of Gospel Outreach
Anne became involved with the LWML when a dear friend invited her to a district convention. She served as a Young Women Representative (YWR) to the 2003 Lutheran Women in Mission Oklahoma City Convention and has been an active Lutheran Women in Mission for over 20 years. Since Anne’s congregation does not have an LWML group she is an individual member.
Anne has served on many national and district committees and served as the Host Committee Chair for the 2023 Lutheran Women in Mission Milwaukee Convention. She currently serves as LWML Vice President of Gospel Outreach.
Anne has been involved with Camp Luther, Wisconsin for over 40 years in many distinct roles. She started as a camp counselor and met her husband Mike at Camp Luther. She has served on the board and as Capital Campaign Committee Chair.
Anne and her husband, Mike, have been married for 30 years and have three grown children. Mike is an emergency room physician and Anne was a stay-at-home mom and “career volunteer” while her children were growing up.
Past Presidents Jan Wendorf and Linda Reiser have been wonderful encouragers and mentors for Anne. Her vision for the LWML is that we continue to be an organization that encourages all women in the church to be in His Word, serve Him, and spread the Gospel. She prays that LWML continues to embrace women of all ages and cultures, equipping them to use their gifts and talents to serve the Lord.
Anne’s favorite Bible verse is Psalm 16:11, You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
