Church Worker Grant Opportunity
We rejoice in God’s grace and providence as we awarded two Church Worker Grants to Marlee Hubach (left) and Jordan Timian (right). We thank God for these two diligent church workers and lift them up in prayer as they begin their service to God and Grace Lutheran School in Pocatello, ID!
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League Utah-Idaho District has established a grant program to assist students from our district who have accepted their first full-time called position in the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod. The grant amount is $3,000 and is shared equally if more than one person is eligible.
We have filled our Church Worker Grants at this time. Please contact Pam Quisler, Vice President of Organizational Resources, if you have more questions prior to the next applications opening.
These are the requirements and steps to follow when applying for the grant:
1. The applicant’s home church must in the Utah-Idaho LWML District
(i.e., the church where they were members when they began course work to become eligible for a Call).
2. The applicant’s call is his/her first call.
3. The applicant writes a letter to the VP of Organizational Resources requesting this grant.
4. This letter should include your current cell phone number and address.
5. This letter is to include the effective date of the call.
6. Applicant will submit a copy of the call papers for his/her first call.
7. The letter and copy of the call papers are due by May 31, 2025, in the hands of the VP of Organizational Resources at the email address below.
The members of the LWML Utah-Idaho District desire to support qualified professionals in our churches and schools. Our mission continues through them as they spread the love of Jesus to the people they serve.
